If you’re a fan of first-person shooters, then you’ve probably heard of Call of Duty 3. Developed by Treyarch and published by Activision, Call of Duty 3 is the third installment in the popular Call of Duty series. The game was released in 2006 for the PlayStation 2, Xbox 360, and Wii. 

Call of Duty 3’s story takes place during World War II and follows the Allied forces as they fight their way through Nazi-occupied Europe. The campaign mode is split up into three different stories, each following a different character. You’ll play as an American paratrooper, a British tank commander, and a Polish resistance fighter. 

The gameplay in Call of Duty is similar to that of its predecessors. You’ll be fighting through a variety of war-torn environments, using a variety of weapons to take down your enemies. One new addition to the gameplay is the ability to command ally AI characters. This can come in handy when you need to flank your enemy or breach a room full of enemies.

The multiplayer mode features up to 16 players who can compete against each other in a variety of game types, such as deathmatch, capture the flag, and king of the hill. The cooperative mode allows two players to team up and plays through the campaign mode together.

Call of Duty 3 – Storyline & Plot

Call of Duty 3 follows the story of three different characters set during World War II. The American character, Pvt. James Doyle is a paratrooper who parachutes into Normandy on D-Day and participates in various missions behind enemy lines. 

The British character, Lt. Hecker, is a tank commander who fights his way through France with his crew of British tanks. And the Polish character, Cpt. Maciej, is a freedom fighter who joins the resistance movement and takes part in sabotage missions against the Nazis.

Overall Call of Duty 3 offers an intense and immersive experience that puts you right into the middle of World War II battles. With its solid gameplay mechanics, large maps and well-written story Call of Duty 3 is definitely worth checking out for fans of the series or first-person shooters in general.

Multiplayer & Co-operative Call of Duty 3 has a variety of game modes available for multiplayer and cooperative play.

The game supports up to 16 players in split screen, online, or system link matches. The cooperative mode allows two players to team up and plays through the campaign mode together.

The multiplayer features a variety of game types such as deathmatch, capture the flag, and king of the hill. Call of Duty 3 also supports map downloads from CallofDuty.com where players can upload and download additional maps for use in multiplayer matches.
